Do not charge for:

  • invited internal respondents who are not managed subjects
  • external customers, partners, or coaches who only provide feedback
  • tenant administrators who do not have a managed profile
  • archived or deactivated subjects after the billing grace period

This encourages broad 360 participation and aligns with specialist products that charge for feedback recipients rather than feedback providers.

Entitlement design principle

Use three separate systems:

  • Entitlements: what the customer purchased.
  • Tenant policies: how the customer configures the purchased capability.
  • Feature flags: how engineering releases or experiments with software.

Never use release flags as the billing source of truth.
